Mpox: Understanding the Disease and Its Impact on Pakistan

Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is a viral disease caused by the mpox virus, which is related to the variola virus that causes smallpox. Unlike smallpox, mpox is generally less severe but can still pose significant health risks, particularly to children, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
