Call for application Research and Capacity Building Officers (2 positions) Deadline: November 20, 2013 Shirkat Gah, Karachi Initiated in 1975, Shirkat Gah (SG) is a leading women's rights organization that operates out of offices in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. SG strengthens women as rights-holders, building women's capacity to fully exercise rights, make informed choices and be included in decision-making processes. An advocate of the ICPD agenda and the Human Rights Council's Resolution on maternal mortality as a human rights issue, Shirkat Gah's human rights based approach locates marginalized women and vulnerable groups at the centre of the health system. In its bid to improve women's access to health services and ability to improve accountability and governance of the health system at a local level, SG is initiating a four year National Action Research Study that will run across the four provinces. The study aims to enh
